Potato Famine

Ok...where's Spudrider.

It's been weeks since he's been on here and he's the Grand Poo-Bah of both China Riders and The Cult of the Zong.

Hmmmmmmm............he's been gone since about the time Joe went to China. You think maybe he's there in secret? After all, Spud has been the major voice for Zong in North America for over a decade.

...or maybe FastDoc has him held hostage in his Maule and won't give him up until he gets a new mountain bike?

....or maybe (God forbid) he drown his RX3 or his new Yamaha motor in his Sierra again?

Other ideas????

Hopefully not this..... He's probably in the back country with no cell or wi-fi.

I been wondering but he's a grown man and doesn't need a bunch of cyber parents

The natives are getting restless . I just assumed this is normal blackout till winter for spud.

He did check in with a few posts a little while back ( don't ask when, time has speeded up for me as few years of late)

What milestones are needed for the rx3? Transcontinental.

I don't know, spud seems like the type you might need to use a jabstick tranquilizer for a 14 hour plane ride.

Spud is an awesome dude to get to know personally. He and I had a terrific ride together and some fantastic conversation. I'd happily join him on another journey.

It's time for me to give him a call.

Spud is indeed an awesome guy. Very talented rider a wonderful gentleman, and a brother. With that said, I've been in touch with him and he is mostly just enjoying every minute of summer in the Intermountain West. As much as he likes the forum, he likes riding better. I'm sure he will join us more once the weather starts to fall apart again, as it inevitably will LOL

I have not taken him hostage, although it does remain an option for the future if necessary
