Motrac Motorcycles

Noticed this company listed on the 'On-Highway EPA/DOT Certification List' as receiving certification.

http://motracmotorcycles.com/

Yet another competitor to the mini-motorcycle craze started by Honda's Grom (the most recent 'craze) and continued with the Kawazaki Z125 as well as spattering of Chinese clones or original bikes, such as this company, SSR (Razkull), Ice Bear's bike that looks like a customized Grom, Maxipad's bike, and a TMEC Denali 125 mini bike, too. There is an electric minibike called the Boom, as well.

Thanks for the link Culcune. Nice looking bikes but not cheap, 3K and up. It looks like the stylist had a blast working on these. Hope they are successful but with those prices their going to be a tough sale.

Laughing

They will have a TOUGH time selling them at $3k+. I am sure that is MSRP, or for people who wouldn't be caught dead on a Honda

The factory is http://www.cnyongfu.com/english/index.asp

SANMEN COUNTY YONGFU MACHINE CO,.LTD.
These models are not listed on their site, which is not unusual.

SANMEN COUNTY YONGFU MACHINE CO,.LTD. have EPA certificates for a bunch of scooters. Under the name YULUO GLOBAL MOTOR, INC.
Which is operating out of Texas

They are over estimating the market prices. I honestly do not believe they will sell any at those prices.
The SSR Razkull is more realistically priced http://www.ssrmotorsports.com/store/street/razkull.php

Member 'Maxipad' has this bike and beats it up regularly at a good price. He did report some typical for Chinese stuff, such as brittle plastics, but the price is good and the bike is featured in some of his videos on his youtube channel.

What is that about $20.00 in cheap Chinese parts?

First horizontal Honda clone engine I've seen with 5 gears. Love the 75 mph top speed (depending on driver weight)... More weight equals faster top speed in a free fall situation.

The engine has Baodaio stamped on it http://bdmotorcycle.com/products/0/155273

I have never heard of 5 speed either, they are all 4.
