The carb work and tuneup paid off. Up to almost 29 mpg.

So . Joking aside, it's all dialed in. Plugs are a light tan now, not the powdered soot I had before. Neutral switch is adjusted enough that the light only comes on in neutral. Well, most of the time, anyway.  I also added a pad to the brake pedal from Ural of New England. Raises the contact point on the pedal about 3/4 " and basically adds that 3/4" to the pedal travel. Which means I now have real rear brakes instead of 'retarders'.Time to clean up and go to out to dinner with Mrs. C. If it wasn't going to rain, we'd take the Ural.
