Doh! rx3 problem with...

hello there!.
I am from Chile, and I bought the motorcycle this Saturday, everything very well, I liked it a lot but what bothers me is that the gasoline meter lies along with the speed. Any tutorial to solve this? Thank you

Here's a gadget that fixes the speedometer error:

http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=14756

There is also a thread that describes how to bend the float in the gas tank to get a more accurate reading....

http://www.chinariders.net/showthrea...highlight=tank

This is in Spanish and shows the removal of the float:

Some people have been able to bend the float arm going through the filler opening.

I did both fixes. Wiring in the speedodrd is pretty easy and easy to set. Pulling the tank and removing the float and bending is also easy and works great. If your bike is fuel injected, don't bend it as much as if you have a carb. I used the tutorials listed in the previous post for these.

I'm not too annoyed with speedo error.
10% off
70 mph indicated - 7 mph = 63 mph real speed

True top speed

Speaking of mph...everyone says the top speed of the RX3 is 84 mph

So is that indicated or actual ?

If actual that would mean 92 mph indicated

That is indicated. More like 76 with stock gearing and GPS app. I changed to a 13/45 combo which increased torque by 10% which I wanted for off-road riding and it only dropped the top end to 72 GPS measured and SpeedoDRD. Corrected. I love the new gearing!!!

I bent the float on my RX3...it worked for a little while, but seems like it just wasn't enough. It still will show full tank, and then slowly to half a tank, and then all of a sudden after 2 or 3 bars are gone it becomes empty. I've seen just taken note to the amount of mileage used. However, that sometimes resets itself.
