Zongshen 250 stator differences?

I have an air cooled Zongshen ZS169FMM 250 (232cc). Previous owner blew a chain and took part of the stator case and stator with it so I ordered new parts but the stator itself appears half as thick, (less windings), than the original and I was wondering if anyone thinks this could be an issue with charging the battery. I don't have lighting and the bike is not setup for that anyway. Unfortunately there were no specs for wattage on the new part sent.

It mounts fine, and is the same diameter.

ie. for E-start only. Prove it by amp meter (UNI-T had some affordable clamp meter that measures DC...) & do some math
