carb help!!

so I finally took the carb apart last night, found some shit in the bowl, cleaned it out, and put it back together.

but now when I turn the gas on the carb floods and spills over. also the throttle cable has some slack and turning the bike on will make it flood/rev real high. I think I installed that little tube the needle sits in wrong. how is it supposed to go? I dont think mine goes to the very bottom. also my needle was set to the highest point.

how far down should the slide thing go?

needle should be near bottom for stock. Something in the carb is stuck you may have put something back wrong or the float came off the hinge. Pull it apart again reclean the whole carb (not just the bowel) and make sure it goes back together correctly.

You're going to get good at taking that carb off
Sucks when things like that happen...I usually wind up doing everything twice.
