You-All is new name. That maker registered a trademark [KEI HIN] "910400" http://s22.postimg.cc/4c8jbd28x/ORI.jpg in 90's & sued by Keihin a decade later...

I'm glad to see everyone working toward a better carb solution. I'm waiting to upgrade my exhaust and carb but think I would be better off getting tagged before removing the cat. Has anone been hassled in a inspection for no cat?

I have less F's to give, and less hearing, because I love to hear the sound of my own exhaust. I will own whisper quiet stuff when I am 70... maybe. Although, I must admit that even my V65 Sabre with open pipes was a bit loud...

Well it looks like I will be OK to remove the cat.
(Although the State of Texas does not require an emissions test on motorcycles, an annual safety inspection is required prior to a motorcycle's registration renewal) Now I can put my money toward this carb possibly, hopefully someone will get one up and running soon and give us some feedback.

I don't think mine came with the detent plate; I'm going to scrounge through my stuff and see if I have one on an old Keihin clone. It's almost like a person has to buy two of these to make one perfect example.

The detent plate was taped to the inlet of the carb. Maybe it was added after some complaints?? |

Test of the pumper...
So, I mounted this up after discovering that the PD jet and pilot are not going to work. The PD uses the tall style jets and it doesn't clear the bottom of the You-ALL bowl.
More irritating is the the pilot is like a 2-piece deal and I can see no good way to get the tube out of the carb - to add insult the "spare" in their kit is the same as my PD so neither will fit!!!! My old PD had a 115 main and 38 pilot. The You-All has a 33 pilot and 119 main. Since I couldn't change them out I decided to just try it as-is. Love the throttle and grips!! Please You-ALL figure out a way to mark your jets so we can read them!! And make your pilot jet something we can swap out!! It starts and runs good- I haven't spent much time tuning it. Took it for a yard spin and first impressions are that it does really alleviate that off idle bog and seems to pull a little harder off the bottom. So close to being what we all are looking for. Too bad the jets are so goofy. |

Might have also been an oversight during packaging/assembly.

At least mine can accept the stock Hawk pilot yet, and the main CAN be swapped out, so I should be fine. I still think it would be nice to find a seller that has a carb where all of the jets were standard ones. At least the throttle assembly is nice. Kind of an unexpected bonus to be sure.

Just to clarify - the main jet in the You-All can be changed, but it does not take the Keihin PD style jets.
