Help

time for first real oil change . So here is queston were is the oil filter or what pass as a filter?We have ohv 200 motor

Take off the oil cap and there will be a small mesh drainer thing right inside there. To my knowledge, no oil filter like a car or anything, but don't quote me.

Pull the oil drain plug (big chrome nut on bottom left side of engine, near the shifter). Behind that is a spring that will more then likely fall out. That spring holds in a cone shaped screen. Remove the screen, flush it out, reinstall screen, spring, nut. Fill with 1 quart of oil. Fire it up and drive!

Thank you all. I put new oil in the 2 bikes befor we ever road them.But pulled the bottom plug and never looked at the other plug/ filter.

got it done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well did the first service on the two bikes, Oil, valve ajust, welded up every thing we broke. and set to start all over againe.
