Valve Adjustment t Tools

Found these valve adjustment tools on eBay. They look like they would be very useful. Anybody have experience with them?

heres a link with them plus feeler gauges. Might be worth it for 8 bucks to get it and toss in the tool bag.

Imma go ahead and order them ,even though my current patience level with the extremely long delivery time ordering stuff from China on EBay is extremely short , while my frustration level is high ,nothing like waiting on parts you need for a build to take a month to arrive from China via EBay.

I have one that I bought from tbolt. it does make the job easier. I have three bikes I use it on. There are cheaper ones on ebay but this one is really good quality.

That would have made it much easier for sure. Is there clearance without moving the tank?

I used baby channel locks and a wrench. I got it right but it took some doing.

Good question. Motocheez has a video showing that the Hawk tank doesn't need to be moved. Looking at my TT250, I think you do have to move the tank... Anyone know different?

Am i missing something i havent done the valve adjustment yet on my TT250 but after i looked at the tutorial on CSC website its just a 10mm bolt why spend the money on a home made looking tool when you can just as easily if not easier use a 10mm wrench that we all should probably have if we are doing any kind of repairs on these bikes. The only thing needed would be the feeler gauges and you can get them for 7.99 next day delivery on amazon. no waiting a month for delivery. again maybe im missing something or your hawks have the square nuts

Appel, I encourage you to remove the valve cover and see for yourself. The 10mm wrench is for the locknut, but the actual valve adjustment requires a square tool.

I use a #2 Robertson screw, which is referred to as a square drive in the US. It is 1.5" long and is screwed into a common yellow marrette electrical connector. It works beautifully and it cost me nothing.

Upon closer inspection of the tutorial photos i can see it is a square drive i do stand corrected. and i can see the use for this tool now... That being said i still dont think i would wait a month to do valves you can get a tool for that in any parts store. Just my opinion. but if not in a hurry to do your valves then yes this would be very benificial.
Thanks Grind for the correction
