what is this?

I have just recently acquired a 2007 Roketa 250cc buggy. There is a rectangle plastic reservoir which is attached to the air breather for the CVT cover. This reservoir has a check valve on it, a hose up to the top of the DOHC cover, and a small hose that looks like a means to fill/drain this reservoir.

Does anybody have any idea what this is? It had a small amount of oil inside it, however, the oil looked contaminated.

Thanks for reading.

I have a carter brothers go kart, it is a gx125iir. It has a gy6125 motor in it. I would like to know if i can find parts for this motor or if the gy6150 motor parts can be used to rebuild the 125 motor by replacing the 125 cylinder, piston, rings, etc with the 150 parts.
