It was more of stumble/cough and then purr. I think the next thing to work on will be the front axle rebuild. I now know the engine is okay so will move forward on getting it so that it will be able to drive. After the front axle I plan to buy a new toyota carb and adaptor kit so that it will run good. Clean out the gas tank and then I believe it should be able to drive at least around the yard. I don't plan to insure it until spring or summer as I don't have a good top yet. The rebuilding process with take awhile as I will buy parts as the money is available. Usually means that I sell some other junk.

Pictures pictures pictures. I am going to wait until I order the parts so that I can remember how things go back together. The picture of the knuckle is the one that the kingpin bearing is toast.
