Bad brake switch?
My garage door was hand build by the previous owner. It doesn't open wide enough to park my buggy inside. I was keeping it outside, covered, until someone tried to steal it. I decided to break it down and put it in the garage until I can rebuild the door to open all the way.
When I put it all back together, it wouldn't start. Brake check, no light. I bypassed the brake switch and it started up. Is it possible I did something wrong when draining, refilling and bleeding the brake system? I bought it this year and has very few hours. Surely the switch wouldn't go out that soon. |

Do you have a mechanical switch or hydraulic switch? The mechanical ones tend to corroded. Spray a little contact cleaner in it might help.

It may will have some air in the line or just a faulty switch. The switch works on pressure. Do the brakes pump up good and hard?

The brakes feel good. If I press the pedal and try to rock it back and forth, the brake hold it in place. I am going to try bleeding them again though. I'll try to do it today and respond later.

That's what I meant by bypassing the switch. I just placed both wires on the same terminal of the brake switch and it started up. That is how I diagnosed the problem.
