Haven't had a chance to see the difference it makes, but I'm sure I'll do that later today.
Where did you buy the 35T?

Vince looking forward to your pictures, enjoy that scenery!

Question about the choke. Seems when I push the choke lever all the up the motor dies instantly. When the lever is in the middle or down the engine starts and runs fine. Can’t start it with the lever all the way up, which I figure is the run position.

Any suggestions on what the problem is or why she won’t run unless in mid or full choke? I live in NY it’s 70 degrees so not cold, and I let the engine idle in mid choke for a few minutes. She holds idle no problem and starts in choke no problem.

So I checked online and seems ok to ride with choke, if not for extremely long distances, so I’ll run it in mid-choke to take to the local mechanic so they can make necessary adjustments. I also want a mechanic to look over everything and give me some maintenance and service guidance before I start taking any trips. For someone new to motorcycles the manual sucks!

Once the DF is warmed up you can turn the choke off IE all the way down. No need and probably not good to run the motor too rich.

My DF shuts down once taken off choke, just dies.

I will have to take it to a mechanic for my inspection, so will have them check it out.

What tire PSI you guys riding front and rear?

Once warmed up it should run fine with no choke. May take a minute or 2 after startup. Tire pressure, 36 PSI, front and rear.

Anyone using Sta-bil or anything to your gas? If so what do you use or recommend and how much per gallon? I’m wondering if this will help my engine run better without choke. :-(

Can anyone please clarify if this picture is in the “RUN” position? Black lever pushed down as far as possible.

If so then my bike works fine when the black lever is pushed down as far as it can go, or if the black lever is one notch up, so in the middle, but bike dies instantly when I pull all the way up on the black lever. If I try to start the bike cold with the black lever all the way up, and I give it a little gas it starts but won’t hold unless I keep giving it a little gas, once I stop it dies and smells flooded.

Any reason my bike sounds backwards and what that might mean for my carburetor tuning etc?

Sorry to be so green, but just trying to get a better understanding and seems not much info available about this bike.

Thanks in advance for any feedback or suggestions.

Thanks Jeff, so what does it mean that my bike doesn’t like full choke ?

FYI, the weather here has been in the mid 60s to mid 70s.
