Need a new rear shock upgrade

Anyone know what will fit on my 2020 Brozz recon 250? I replaced the original shock and it is like a pogo stick with no rebound dampening. Got it from amazon for about $75.
Don't want to invest too much, so no remote reservoirs. Just a basic shock.

You may be better to put the stock shock back on, and tinker around with the preload adjustment. I replaced my stock rear shock in my Hawk, because it was non adjustable, and had a dual rate spring. I used this one that looks like it's probably a stock shock for a DLX. Several sellers were selling them, so even though it says it's out of stock, I figure they are still easy to find. I had to experiment with the preload, but I have it set pretty good now. It's a huge improvement over the stock one that I had on the Hawk, but it's very similar, and possibly identical to what you Brozz may have came with . I have the shock that Bill references. Brand new if you can’t find one. Bought it for my Hawk DLX but was the same size and I wanted a shorter one to lower the bike.

That does look like a huge upgrade. I like the dampening adjuster too. Looks like it's worth the extra money.
