tire dilemma!
Well, I came up short on cash and could not get everything mounted the way i wanted. I could have half azzed it, but I want it right. Thanks Bruce LOL. That being said, I am going to order the matching Kenda for the rear. If I have to wait then I might as well get one that matches and you know 95% of my riding is on the road (some dirt roads in the middle of nowhere but nothing too severe), and that hawk knobby scared the living daylights out of me until it wore down a bit. The grooved roads around here wanted to grab it and drag me into the hands of the grim reaper. I said NO!
I know there are better tires out there but I already have the kenda on the front, so I will do the same for the back. (price is a major issue) On a side note, once this is done, if there is anyone within driving distance that would want this Pirelli M16, its yours for free, once I know for sure about ordering the Kenda.

You don't hear me laughing, do you?
I was merely pointing out that you don't have to remove the one on the left side of the tank, nothing more. If you feel that my constructive comment was a joke, I'll refrain from commenting in any of your threads in the future. |

True...Fork guards shield the exposed fork tubes from damage on USD forks. It's a quick way to know if a bike has USD forks

I have seen bright color fork covers in AliExpress, that I think are for convention forks, but not real sure. I have thought about painting my lower forks, and passenger grab handles black on my bike.

i mean...those are clearly forks like the Hawks in the picture, but I think now that lingering question I had about why they don't have any picture of them installed may have been answered.

well good old Amazon. I don't know if it cancelled or not (i suspect it did). The item no longer shows up in my list of orders, nor does it show up in the list of cancelled orders. Weird. Eh well, in 3 days I will know for sure when they either credit my card or these things show up.

Fork guards for standard forks? No. They do not exist.

Sure they do! Just a bit different design. Basically mounts to the top of the bottom tube and deflects gunk off the front surface of the upper tube. I've run these in the past coupled with standard fork gaiters for a little extra protection: https://www.thevintagespoke.com/shop...-x10582898.htm
