Reviving a 2009 Q Link XP 200
So I've had the bike in a relative's barn for a few years and now I'm going to give a friend of the family a deal on it after he passes his MSF Course and gets his cycle endorsement.
When I bought it back in 2017 I changed the oil filter and air filter, replaced a tube and added a rim lock the the rear, and put on handguards, and rode it for a couple years before storing it and life happening to me. I need some help with a few things to get it straight for him. If I remember right, it takes the same oil and air filter as the Suzuki DRZ 125, right? KN-131, HF-131, etc., the shorter one, right? Well, I couldn't find this oil filter on RMATV. Air filter is identical to the one used in the DRZ 125, right? The kickstart is missing a piece of metal that makes it hard to kick, so it either needs to be welded, or replaced. I read the engine is mostly based on the Suzuki GN125 and I found a kickstart for that bike on Ebay for a good deal. Any idea if it will fit on the bike? Here's a link to the Ebay kickstart lever: https://www.ebay.com/itm/19581198600...iABEgLDOvD_BwE Also, I have a set of Tusk Dual Sport Tires for my CRF250L, and I was hoping they would fit on the XP 200; they are both 21/18 setups but I think the Q Link rim is smaller; any thoughts on this? Ready to order a new set of tires if necessary, maybe long lasting Shinko 705s if available in the right sizes. Any other advice? Thanks! |

Amazon has your 131 filters. Search for 'oil filter 131' and a few different brands show up including K&N and HiFlo. It's been years since I had my XF200 (same as your but 17" tires) but poster 2LZ still has his XP. Send him a PM but I'm sure he'll see this and weigh in.

Do you know which Suzuki bikes take the same oil and air filter as the XP and XF 200? Any idea on the kickstart lever replacement, or tires? Hopefully 2LZ drops in here...standing by for his arrival |

Humanbeing (frequent poster) said that the following oil filters fit; Suzuki: 16510-05240 | Hi-flo: HF-131 | Emgo: 10-84200 Here's a thread I made back when about the Moose Racing air filter I installed; https://www.chinariders.net/showthre...ighlight=Moose I had 17" tires and never changed them so no help there. Seeing how these engines were basically 125cc with 200cc Heads, jugs, and pistons, I would guess that the kick starter would fit but it's only a guess.

Which Kickstarter lever would most likely fit, Suzuki 125?
I don't think RMATV even carries the 131 filter. So the DR200 air filter fits the Q Link? Thanks |

Is the NGK DR8EA the right plug for the Q Link XP 200?
Think that's the same plug for the Suzuki DRZ 125. |

Most of the people here don't have or have never had that bike, so there isn't too much knowledge base active on here.
The spark plug should be fairly easy to sort out. Are there any codes or other markings on the current plug? Chances are the D8 plug type is correct, but most of us won't say something without knowing for sure.
