A recent geocaching run, and ummm....my new bike

Here are some pictures from a recent geocaching run. I have also been looking for a new bike and FINALLY found one after searching most of the state.


The mountain laurel was in full bloom and made for a beautiful ride


This is overlooking a branch of the Susquehanna River, I think!


This is at another vista overlooking the river. The bike is getting pretty dirty at this point.


Me and the bike all cleaned up. Don't be jealous because my bike is better looking than yours, even after 6300 miles!


Ok, here she is, the new bike. After some research I decided the V-Strom was the bike I wanted. I just couldn't find one, even after calling dealers withing 100 miles of me. I just happened to be driving by one of the dealers I had called and decided to drop in. And there it was, he had just gotten it in and set up. 5 days later I drove it home.


Here it is with the Roketa. I have only put 40 miles on the Roketa since I got the V-Strom last Wed, and I have logged 850 on the new bike. I really like that thing! I'll be keeping the Roketa for the down and dirty duties, plus my son has his permit now, so as soon as he gets his license we'll be getting his motorcycle permit and the Roketa will be his bike.
