This is a triplicate post. It's in the dealer discussions and in the suggestion box, and in the registration issues. Could you please remove two, thanks.

Was the bike a private import, or imported by a business? Private imports don't get a CoC (certificate of comformity), you will have to take it for a SVA test instead. If you want to register it as new you'll need a certificate of newness, this is signed by the importer. An official receipt is also required, hand written in is not acceptable. All the info is on the DVLA web site, there is a pack you can request with all the forms etc.. If you need any more advice please contact me, I registered a grey import Hongdou in October '06.

Jonathan.

Being Global, ROCKS

Newey you might have missed the Read before you post section.

Grammar and Spelling

All are not equipped with the same language skills, especially when conveyed via the written word. If possible please follow as many of the following guidelines as possible:

- Sentences start with a capital letter (e.g. 'C', not 'c').
- Sentences end with a punctuation mark (e.g. ?!.).
- When used wisely the comma (,) is your friend!
- Please refrain from posting in all upper case (e.g. THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING DON'T YOU THINK.) unless the intention of your post is to convey yelling.
- Check your spelling.

Do not make duplicate posts

Avoid posting the same message in multiple forums. This is annoying. If you have a message that warrants wider exposure send me a PM.
------------------------------------------------
Not that I didn't make a duplicate post when I started. One duplacate had a VERY vague subject, also in the rules. A quick check of spelling helps members read your post and post replies which help you. Not that spelling has to be perfect.
