Only had it a couple of months, havent had any problems other than replacing the front tube.mostly used for trail rideing(very few jumps)so I think the square tube frame will be ok.all the welds look good.I posted a question on another forum on how to adjust the valves if anyone could help.I think its good and broke in now.

You can pm me to help indepth, but it's pretty easy. Take the plug out, to help with getting it to top dead center. Move the kickstarter till the piston is all the way up on the compression stroke. Take the four bolts out of the valve cover and make sure the rockers are all the way down. Use a .002 feeler gauge to slide between the rocker and the valve, it should be tight, but still able to slide back and forth. You might have some trouble getting the valve cover off on some bikes, but my gy-5 had just enough room to get it off. BTW, do this with a cold engine. Here are some pics. to help.

Thanks alot and the pics are great! is the .002 for both valves.someone else told me .004 and .006 for exhaust.you would think they would put that kind of info in the manual.

I used .002 for both. Also a little valve clatter is ok on these bikes. And remember to do it on a cold engine. There is also a Sticky on the Dual Sport/enduro section that is great too, but I think it's for OHC motors, which I didn't ask if yours was.

Yeah,I checked out that sticky and thats not my engine.your pics look just like mine.thanks for the info and help,I would like to keep this bike running for my wife at least a couple of years.

I just noticed your not to far away,Im in Athens.do you ride a street bike or dirt?if dirt where do you ride?me the wife and my son go to durham town,its ok but its nothing but hard clay.(georgia!)you know any places in georgia that have nice soft dirt just incase I wipe out.thanks again

yeah, there's a motocross track on highway 151 in ringgold near the TN line. But I ride mostly on the street. I bought a fairly expensive set of tires just to make the bike a little better on the street. The way some of the guys on here have been breaking swingarm bolts and some other parts I'm not real sure how my bike would hold up to any "real offroad".

Neighbor has some trails behind his house. We ride back there some.
