your 07 saga is from off shore.it is a 229 cc engine.

The story is that the 07's came in and where missing a few items to be DOT canada legal. So they sold them off as non street legal.I have heard that many where made steet legal by the owners.

Contact a local CVSE Area vechile inspector from the ministry of transportation and they will get you all the info you need to make sure it is TC canada legal ( thats their job) before you go to a inspection facility to save your pocket book.
www.cvse.ca should have a list of local AVI's for your area in BC

Power wise it is not a bad machine.I use mine off road to trail ride and it has decent power.I would never ride it on Highway #1 ..LOL..at 80 km it's doing 7000 rpm.
For off road touring it is a great machine. If you ever want to get rid of it let me know.

Did you end up selling it?

I was just thinking, the manufacturer is probabl;y printed on some kind of tag on the bike, either on the swing arm or steering head...
