If there was EVER someone who got their money's worth on a little motorcycle, it was you, Spud.
Have you considered some sort of guard to protect your lower exposed fork legs?

![]() ![]() I could install the stock Zong fork guards. So far, I have not felt the need to do so. Spud ![]()

The only reason I suges it is to spare the chrome coating from chipping from rocks and then tearing up the fork seals. :?

What map sets do you use in the Garmin? I have Metro Guide or City Giude, not sure which it is. Thinking of adding Toppo maps to it but have not been convinced I need it.

![]() However, the Topo 2008 map set is still an excellent resource. ![]() ![]() I also have the Garmin MetroGuide map set. In the past I have unloaded the Topo 2008 map set, and loaded the MetroGuide map set when riding along the narrow Wasatch Front, north of Salt Lake City. I would switch map sets to help guide me through the “urban jungle.†![]() ![]() ![]() Spud ![]()

That sounds like a great GPS. I did not know such mapping was available.

GPS's are a great tool (and toy). I have learned not to expect everything to be as advertised though. A driveway across the road from my house appears as a continuation of the road. Many times I have had to back track when the road I was on ended at someones drive gate.
About 2 1/2 years ago my company moved into a new building. Every so often people will walk in with a confused look on their face asking if we are a post office. After this happened a few times I asked someone why they thought it was a post office. Their Garmin GPS says so. LOL |
