Very pricey!
I'm not sure I'm brave enough to try out a chinese made 450, but I'm a wimp. Tubeless tires on a dirt bike? 7-speeds? Interesting indeed.. |

This is apparently the long awaited Asiawing 450 that was discussed last year, and there are videos on youtube if you look around, although those were videos of the prototype.

specs are a bit different. The last post has a spec of 449 c.c.'s and a 5 speed trans.
The top post has a spec of 445 c.c.'s and a 7 speed trans. |

Price will need to come down alot, but it looks good. Typically specs are questionable.
I think it needs to be under $3K to sell. Allen

We could buy brand new Suzuki RMZ450's for that last year. Which one would you buy? |

I still wonder if they actually have them :? My gut feeling is they are planning to sell them, and threw a price out there to see what kind of reaction they would get--they purposely priced them way high so no one will actually try to buy one. Marketing research, it seems

Ok, now I'll hop off my high horse and say I'd buy one in a heartbeat at $2499.00, even if I dont believe the 35hp figure. GIO sells those X35 or X31's? I forget now, but 250's for a grand or so at auction? Maybe I'm comparing apples and oranges, but even though its a 450 I cant see much more than 2500 bucks for it. If its anywhere NEAR as high strung as Jap big iron in that range then I would seriously question reliability. Its a start though, one of the first forays in to the 450 class.
