Prolong...

I was thinking of using some Prolong in my Lifan, as it is very nicely run-in (11000km!!) ...but have since found out that it has a wet clutch - so my feeling is no-go... Am I right in assuming that Prolong will cause the clutch to slip?

Please tell us more about Prolong. I'm not familiar with it.

That said, I'm against magic sauces in the oil.

I would not use it for that reason.

I thought they went out of business.....Either way it would not do well for Your clutch....You don't want it to slip.

The best thing for your motor is the factory recommended oil.

If you require additional additives, you're masking a problem that will just surface it's ugly head, with more problems later.

No motor should require any slick 50 type crap to survive with proper maintenance.

Just my .02c.
