Baja California outing.

Just returned from a ride in Baja California from Hacienda Santa Veronica towards Laguna Hanson. Needed to bring more fuel and had to stop and turn around about 30 miles into the ride as we had only brought a gallon of extra gas. Went about 60 miles into the mountains south of La Rumorosa. No issues to report. Both the Chinabike and Chinaquad ran like tops. We averaged about 25-30 MPH on this rough dirt road outing and felt it when we got back to the truck. Butt is sore and the area between my shoulders is on fire. Damn fun ride though. Brutal, but fun. I've posted a few shots in my album.

No worries....We'll be doing that one again. Thinking of headed out to Mexicali as well.

dude that sticker on your bike ownes all!!!!!! i must get one as well. i think monday i'll be spending some money at the sticker shop.

I got a sticker ive been meaning to put on mine, im just not sure where I want to put it yet. Its the one thats typicaly found on american cruisers, we dont care how they do it in japan, thought it would be funny on a chinese bike as a joke...

Great pictures, Liverchip! The mountainy one is odd for Baja...it seems that it is one big desert, even along the border, but your photo proves otherwise. You said you (were going to cross at Tecate? I was on the 8 last week, and could not find the exit that takes you to the border if you are crossing at Tecate. Which one is it?

Hehe sounds like you've answered your own question. Need to take the 94, but I actually take MX highway 2 across Baja Norte. I think we will be doing a similar ride next Saturday as well.
