Night Hawk Howie
Hey all, so this starts the Night Hawk era. It's a 1995 250cc. It has 108,000 miles on it and not 8000 as advertise. I paid $1200 for it and another $10 to transfer the registration. I am totally street legal. I had a mechanic checked it out and road it, and says it fine. It has been rebuilt once.
Road it around my town today and it rides really nice. Here's some pictures for now. I gotta run. |

The previous owner must have only had that for transportation. Looks to be in good condition for those miles.

Hey all. I have some time now to give ya some back ground of my riding. I use to own a 125cc Yamaha enduro 30yrs ago. Didn't use it for years and sold it. Well as time went on I got the urge to ride again. My wife is totally against this. Once you get the bike, what can they say except, be careful! I do freelance work so I am off during week days a lot. It's the perfect time to ride. I would have bought a new bike but I really don't know how long this hobby will last. Thats why the China bike was perfect. It wasn't expensive and I could go off road if I wanted. To bad I could not get it registered. A new bike of this size here in Hawaii would be $5000 minimal. I did not want to spend that much now as I might only ride for a year and the it will sit for a long time with no use. I will ride the Nighthawk for a year and if I'm still in to it I will buy a new bike.
I must say that riding again has been great!!! Here are some more pictures of where I ride to. Aloha. |

If you ever get your bike to Maui, do us all a favour and ride the road to Hana, and take lots of pics. Some shots from the top of Haleakala would be awesome as well.
