Shawn posted here that he was done with AL. Frustated that he could not help customers.

FWIW, I have a set of used pads here.

I'm amazed at the manner in which Lifan has allowed itself to decline.

If someone needs front brake pads, I can get them Zongshen brake pads. My Zong has the same front brake caliper as the Lifan GY-5 motorcycles.

I'm just glad I haven't required anything so special that it had to come from AL. So far honda parts have worked great or standard electrical sockets to size, or making gaskets using a decent quality gasket paper....

Good to know as I just installed a new Lifan OHC 200 in my Honda XR...

can I PLEASE have a wiring harness that fits? It would make things so much easier.

WA, The XR did not really have a harness per se, but I can send you the coil, CDI, and the other bits and connections I removed.

BTW, how are you doing? Up to anything interesting lately? Hows your Honda/Lifan doing? Have you see the one I built? (much less ambitious than yours). What's up with the new bicycle project? :?:

Apparently everything is business as usual at American Lifan. Dmoore posted in the AL forum stating as such.
