If you wanted to so something different I'd go blue but retain the black tank.
Of course, you are correct, oh wise physician. I do not plan to buy another Clarke fuel tank; I like the black fuel tank very much. Indeed, the black fuel tank harmonizes with any other color, allowing me to create an entirely new color scheme by merely changing the front fender. I retouched the one photograph to examine how the bike would appear with a blue fuel tank, but I still prefer the black fuel tank. I think the blue fuel tank looks better on a black motorcycle, as shown in the photograph below.

However, I am still going to need to purchase more spray paint for my extra plastic. Therefore, it does no harm to consider a different color.

If you don't mind the touchup issue with the orange scratch on blue paint, I'd do blue. It's only fitting since your bike is partially a Yamaha.anyways.

Upon further reflection, I am going to stick with KTM orange, Doc. I think the KTM Orange definitely looks better than the Yamaha Blue.

As the Saturday Night Live character, Roseanne Rosannadanna, used to say, “Never mind.”

It's true, Doc! I absolutely hate winter! I desperately need some "throttle therapy!" If I could just go riding a bit, I would be fine.

I can only think of one more, minor modification I might make to my Zong. The Zong is essentially finished, and I am very eager to take a few trips with my extra fuel capacity, and my new, 21-inch front wheel.

Ditto! I second that... Have an itchy shifting toe...

Edit: Well, the riding part anyway... I have no 21 inch wheel

Spud, not only does the orange look really good, it would be beneficial to have a spare set of identical plastics at home in case of damage. If you were to break a fender, it's nice to know that there's an exact replacement at home.

That's a good choice. I did finally settle on the orange/black color scheme. I like it a lot.
