I used your link and ordered from them and along with a note saying, that with a little modifications that it should fit a KPR 200 and now they don't want to ship it and is offering my money back??

When I ordered mine from the same seller, I didn't make any note about the bike at all. Just selected the muffler size and color that I wanted and it fit without any issues.

I ordered mine from the same seller as JimS after he installed his on his bike. So Jim blazed the trail for us. The only issue that we had was the head pipe hits on the plastic and the plastic has to be trimmed a little. That's crazy about the seller not wanting to sell it to you for the KPR though.

Well done herbie and a great 1 year review!

I'm coming up on the 3,000 mile mark myself and haven't had a single issue. I added a couple large washers between the throttle grip and handlebar weight which gives just enough resistance to the throttle grip that it will maintain the speed I set it to so I can give my hands/wrists a break when necessary. Home made cruise control....

When people ask me about it and what kind of crotch rocket it is, I tell em it's only a 200cc and not a fast bike so it's just a crotch - there's no rocket to it but then I tell em about the fuel mileage and that I've gone almost 3,000 miles on $110 worth of fuel and they can't believe it.

Great bike for the money and looking forward to the next 3,000 miles!

Thank you Jim! I agree these are great bikes! The gas mileage alone makes the bike worth the money. I can ride all over before even 1 bar drops off. I like the throttle lock idea. Years ago us frugal or cheapskate whichever applies
would use a rubber o ring and just leave it on the grip and when you want to lock the throttle just roll it over into the crack. It worked well and was easy to back off the throttle if needed

Well I finally got to my younger brother....

He sold his oil dripping Sportster and bought a Venom Ghost! After a year of me owning the KPR, he now believes that these China bikes are worth owning.

He works on his Harley and always has something to do to it so he finally got rid of it. His Ghost arrived Friday. We put it together and he loves it! Sure it's not the power or sound of the Harley but who cares??? In my opinion, riding is much more fun if you have something you can jump on and go without having to worry about fixing something when you park it versus the loud-pipe "look at me" roller that may need work before I ride again.

I'm no Harley hater so don't get me wrong but I am a firm believer in giving respect where it's due and the KPR I've been riding for almost a year now, deserves that respect.

I agree Jim, I’ve owned 3 china bikes so far and all of them have earned my trust. Just took my little KP mini for a 100 mile ride Saturday and it did great. The KPR is a bike that I love but the mini is starting to make a road in.

I took a nice 70 mile ride on my KPR this past weekend. Weather was beautiful and the ride was great! As comfortable as this bike is to me, I don't think I'd have any problems riding a couple hundred miles and will most likely take a nice long ride very soon.

After not riding for almost 10 years, I've found that I'd rather ride the bike than drive my car and with the bag on the back (thanks herbie), I enjoy running errands to pick things up that I know I can carry.

The KPR 200 is a great bike! I also have a KPR 200 and I ride the snot out of it. Actually my Ninja sits while I ride the KPR the most. And 150 mile days are no problem although my right foot goes to sleep from vibration.

Well I bought the exhaust pipe JimS and Herbie recommended from an earlier link. I did the required modifications to make it fit, plus removed the snorkel boot from the air box, and all I can say now is "WOW!!" It's like a got a whole different bike now!! It's got so much more pick up now and sounds like I got a motorcycle instead of a scooter. Now I have to worry about getting a speeding ticket in town plus people can hear me. "Loud Pipes Saves Lives""

Thanks, Herbie, for your KPR YouTube Playlist!! I plan to do a lot of your modifications.

Your welcome Dynamo! The pipe and simple mods really make this bike run great, I can see your going to have lots of good times on it.

No, it's not hard to do at all. I used a 10mm tap and the appropriately sized drill bit. The drill bit size is on the tap, if you need that let me know. Just make sure your drill bit is centered where you want to make your hole and don't go too deep.

Chinese Alarm system.
I bought what Herbie posted from Amazon and it was quite an easy installation, but the sensitivity is terrible even at it's most highest state. The only way it goes off as a warning is when the kickstand shocks the frame when it goes up. I can shake it and it won't go off.
Also I noticed that Herbie also had a viper alarm in another video...
