The bars are Tapered bars, like a Pro-Taper set....so 7/8" guards won't fit, you will need some that are made for the bigger bars.

The RX3 has 1-inch, tapered handlebars. I am going to install Tusk D-Flex hand guards on my RX3. Weldangrind can send you a link for some nice 'Acerbis' hand guards sold at Taobao; however, I don't know if they will fit the big handlebars.

I also ordered a spare throttle cable. I assume all RX3 parts are for the fuel injected bike, unless the ad specifically states it is for the carbureted bike. Here is a link for the stainless steel, oil filter.

Five minutes ago the Xin Fei Zhou was sailing east at 9.5 knots from the following location.

33.62766° / -118.8823°

The vessel was located about 40 statute miles west of Long Beach. However, about 2-3 dozen vessels are either moored, or sailing in the waters off shore from the docks of Long Beach. Therefore, I must assume the Xin Fei Zhou will be waiting a while before it finally finds a berth at the docks.

Spud, are you currently in the market for one of these?? They look like such a great ride.

I am not in the market for a container vessel.

However, I certainly have paid my deposit on a Zongshen RX3.

The Xin Fei Zhou is now at anchor about 2 miles outside the breakwater of the port of Long Beach. About two dozen vessels are anchored outside the breakwater, and almost a dozen are anchored inside the breakwater. If this vessel contains our RX3 motorcycles, they have safely crossed the 'pond' from the Orient, and have reached their new home in the United States.

Of course, we now need to wait for the backlog of vessels to dock, and be unloaded. After the containers leave the port, we must also wait for the bikes to clear customs before they finally arrive at CSC in Azusa. However, the motorcycles have successfully completed a very long journey from their birthplace in Chongqing, China.

I was going to take a picture of the harbor, but they turned us early off of LAX and the harbor was on the co pilots side.

The Acerbis hand guards I bought are definitely for 7/8" bars.

While we're talking handguards...

I found these, they seem like a decent deal at $74 per pair. Protection+turn signals

They may need an extra $15 flashers relay to work properly on the RX3, I'm not sure. I'm also not sure if they will fit over the controls on the handlebars of the RX3.

And yes, the ugly decals are removable.

Dont buy the Tusk hand guards from Amazon; buy them from the source at Rocky Mountain ATV/MC.

https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p...ignals%20black

If you buy these hand guards, you will also need the big bar adapters.

https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p...0bar%20adapter

You earn reward points when buying from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC. Also, you get free shipping when your order equals $99 or more.

I'm going to install the Tusk D-Flex hand guards with spoilers.
