hi guys...actually it's two real mufflers (with spark arrestors)...and a toolbox!!

I just got done with most of the assembly...charging battery now...should be good to go by morning...then it's fluids time...

I have a ton of leftover nuts and bolts...it's cool they give you extras...lol...

Here is a couple pics of the almost finished product...

I think it looks pretty killer...hopefully it runs as good as it looks... :?:

I like the front blinker (winkers) a lot better on your bike than mine. Mine mount off the handlebars and looks cheesy as hell. The hand guards on yours are nice too. thanks for all the good pics.

hmmm, check out the name on the MSO & think about it for a minute......

Nice bike. I was watching this thread because I thought you had ordered a 250, not sure where I got that idea. I'm curious to hear if the dual exhaust helps with the power.

I like the lights and the front fender appears to sit higher than others.

It's looks like a much better bike than mine is. All the issues I have with mine appear to be much better on this bike. The battery is under the seat, better footpegs and passenger pegs, the plastic looks much better, and the headlight looks awesome. How's the rear suspension work?

That is a very nice bike! I'm not sure the dual mufflers are needed but they look cool!

That bike does not look bad at all....Are the plastics rigid and easy to break? Great pics also.

See, the chinese are listening. I see alot of improvements on that bike too. I think I bought too soon, but the lifan will not be my last bike.

I have to agree that there a lot of improvements on that bike. I think the only thing I would miss is the rear rack on that bike. Looking forward to his ride report.

Hey Guys,

I finally got all the assembly done...and the battery charged today...but then had to go into work. I just got back from my dinner break and I ripped home to at least spend a little more time with my new baby...lol. Anyway, I tested all electrical systems and everything is working perfectly. I drained the shipping oil and replaced it with some 10w40. All that is left is to fill it with gas (93oct)...and i should be good to go. Probably gonna try to fire it up tonight when i get home.

Also, i thought i would respond about the plastic quality. It seems fantastic. Very spongy and forgiving...not hard, stiff, or brittle at all.

Fully assembled the bike is stunning...i'm psyched. Anyway i'll report how the starting and hopefully breaking in portion goes. And of course a bunch of new pics of it in all its glory and pics of it in use, hopefully 8O . Then on to the registering phase.

Thanks for all the kind words about the bike. It's very reasuring to have so many active and knowledgable users frequenting this forum...thanks again everyone!!

And to NET...october mountain is looking mighty nice right now...lol...

Alex
8O
Ride On!!

Looking good! Great styling.
I hope your MCO and registration go smoothly.
Keep up the step-by-step for us, it may change some minds...

I'm just about ready to buy. I've been planning on getting the 2007 American Lifan LF200GY-5 but this bike looks like it may be a cut above!

I'm starting to think I can live without that Lifan 6 month warranty!?!? :?

I agree with katoranger! The Chinese are listening and I believe they are starting to get it. I may have also bought to early.

This bike looks so good I may have to get one and part out the Viva!
