The ugly speedo



Started takin off sticker thinkin what color to paint panels



Fixed the chipped rear fender





Took off the front ugly as shit fender to change the shape a bit

It looks like you have some decent raw material to work with.

Are you calling the speedo ugly because it's glazed? Kind of hard to tell in the photo. If it is glazed, I wonder if some rubbing compound would restore it, followed by polishing compound.

What did you use to trim the rear fender? I can never seem to find the perfect tool for trimming plastic.

Are you gonna paint over the exhaust system, or try and remove the rust first? If so, how?

I bet you can use some headight polishing compound to fix the speed cover.

i would prob use some polishing compound for it, but i am keepin my eye on one of these

I use a pnuematic cut off tool from harbor freight, it has a 3" disc on it and i only paid 12 for it and a pack of discs i want to replace the exhaust with a stainless steel set up, but i cant find anything that will fit

That looks pretty cool, although I think a digi speedo would drive me crazy. I'm kind of an analogue guy; it's easier to follow.

yeah it looks decent, but would rather get a motorcycle gps with speed readout, in case i get lost way out from the town and what not, does anyone have ideas of what will fit exhaust-wise?

I bet that anything from a late eighties-onward XR200R exhaust system would be a bolt-on deal.
