Nice pics! That dirt track in the trees is my favorite kind of place to explore. That blue bike looks good, too :-)

to be honest, it was a bit more than I was ready for several times. I think my zealous nature overode common sense. There was a climb up a power line trail over a VERY steep ridge that I did. Throttle pinned the entire climb, RX3 jumping and bouncing the whole way.
Guy on the DRZ400 said it was the most entertainment he had had for years riding behind me yesterday. |

The RX3 is a pretty good dual sport, certainly better than the bigger ADV bikes. Handles better on road than a actual dual sport too. It's a pretty good compromise!
That second pic looks like the trails I've been riding around here in upstate NY. Lee |

Thanks for posting the beautiful photographs.
A 13T/46T sprocket combination, and an aftermarket, Progressive shock absorber will make the technical riding much easier.

I really don't like the idea of the little 13T front. From experience going small like that up front is hard on chains. Better to go big in rear. stock 14/44 is .318 14/46 is .304, just a little lower....which is what I want. |

It looks like it was a great day for a Fall ride.
The profile of that KTM front fender is quite similar to that of the new CSC TT bike.

thought you guys might get a smile from these videos
crappy resolution on both, but you get the idea. The guy taking them was riding a decked out farkled WR250 Yamaha. The other bikes and riders were full dirt. It was obvious that he wanted me (and the RX3) to fail his series of challenges. And no pics or video exist of the crazy power line hillclimb the RX3 tackled. It was nutz but the RX just chugged right up, throttle pinned, rear Shinko roosting the whole way up. |

The hill in the second video looks pretty steep.

Great ride! What did you pack for dinner? Any insulation in the rear box? If you put one of those blue ice packs in there would it last?

I bet it costs a lot of money to build a lighthouse in your yard. Thanks for posting the most unusual photo.
