I believe I recall a few motorcycles listed on the EPA/DOT list as being 48 state street legal. However, that seems to have fallen by the wayside as it seems that bikes are either 50 state, some are 49 state + California (not sure what the difference is), while some are 49 state (Californians need not apply); mostly Chinese bikes but a few mainstream brands' bikes, too (Suzuki's TU250 comes to mind).
RX3 no longer compliant in china with the NC250 now DOHC style nc250

I don't know why ... but for some reason watching the guy crap all over the bike and piss on $1,400 when some of us needed to save up to buy the bike just doesn't sit well with me.

Classic! Living proof the Hondoid is what we've always said. Cheap, fun and durable.

To me, having the cash to buy one of these cheap bikes is more affording and rewarding than going out and financing a Japanese bike even if that's easier. And I've bought three new Japanese bikes in the past. So keep saving, it's worth it.

IMHO

It was painful watching that torture test, but it absolutely proves how durable these pieces of “Chinese junk” really are. Wow...

Just remember
These bikes are not wanted in china lol
They’d rather buy higher quality or imported bikes lol.
I stopped in my small area at the local Kawasaki shop.....
Trend here is changing as locals with money are waking up....

The chinese people seems to hate themselves... They can't even stand their own skin color. Plus they seem to be obsessed with the western world..
So i can see them hating their own stuff. But we just want to buy stuff from them, not be their pen pals.

Their cheap motorcycle are realiable, easy to mantain, cheap to fix. They are work horse, not a heirloom.
