I didn't know the RC3 has ABS brakes. I like the colors, also.

New RC-3 sport bike confirmed..

Great to see CSC continuing to add to their stable of bikes by bringing in this RC-3 sportbike. Love the fact this comes standard with ABS for $2900. Definitely will be interesting to see how it does. Although not the same value as the RX-3 or even the TT-250, it should still sell pretty well for people wanting a brand new entry level beginners bike that wont break the bank. If I remember correctly I think a new ninja 300r is $5000 and comes with ABS as well, and the cbr is around the same. Used market is great for those two bikes though so definitely a lot more competition for this bike.

Me neither! Wow - what a deal. This is really going to light-up the phone lines at CSC HQ!

I have seen the red one at CSC and all I can say is... WOW. The red paint pops (just like on the RX3), but with much more of the body panels painted, the RC3 really stands out in person. I'll bet all the colors do.

And Rojo_Grande, you're spot on. CSC knows way to well how to get to my pocketbook! My wife is not amused.

The RC3 is going to have a lot of entry sport-bike riders interested. For the price of a used CBR250 or Ninja 250, you can get a brand new RC3 with ABS. It's a smoking deal. Can't wait to read the write-ups!

Hmm, I have to be a bit scared for the RC3 at that price point considering how many sport bikes there are out there. I saw a basically brand new yammy r3 for $4000 today and a few ninja 300's in the $3500-4500 range. so if you look at $3230 its a harder sell but it is new and has ABS standard so they'll probably do decently well. the highest amount of bikes sold are streetbikes in the USA after all!

the Hyosung 250R is msrp of $3799 too, and will probably be had at a lower retail price point too. the question will be the quality of the CSC brand vs the others. if it's solid, their price delivered to your door isn't bad. however, keep in mind that this is their introduction pre-sales price. once this offer goes, their price will go up 300-400 or more. that puts it right in the price of the Hyosung and not much variation from the japaneese nameplates.

Ya definitely will be interesting to see how this bike does and even more interesting to see what it sells for after the "dont miss the boat" sale is done. Unlike the RX-3 which has both experienced and beginner owners, I think alot more beginning riders will flock to this because they dont know any better and all they see is a cool looking bike $1200+ less than the next closest competitor.

I saw the RC-3 in person at Azusa. It looks a lot more serious in riding position than the Ninja 300, CBR-250/300 and the Yamaha R3. It's got a supersport riding position which could be what some people want for track use. If they suspension is decent and brakes it's going to be well worth the price. Most of the low CC sports bikes are just a standard in disguise with low end components.

Unlike the RX3 which is the only low cc ADV bike you can get the RC-3 will be up against lots of competition for hold over new Japanese, used Japanese and new Korean bikes.

Not sure what Western Honda charges other than Destination but these are some competitive prices.

Romney Cycle which is about a days ride for me but well worth the trip for the price, like Western goes by Volume and sells Yam R3's for just under 5000 otd and the Ninja 300 for about 4000 otd, they only charge a 75 dollar doc fee.

If this RC-3 has good components it'll do well for those who want a more serious small sport bike.

I hope the RC-3 does well, here's what a 300cc can do in the right hands, basically humiliate 95% of normal riders with someone who knows what they're doing.

"It’s true, this little CBR is on slicks, tuned suspension, has a quickshifter, and is up 8 horsepower on the stock CBR300’s 28 ponies. But still, last time we held a superbike shootout at Chuckwalla (with bikes like the Aprilia’s RSV4, BMW’s S1000RR, and Kawasaki’s ZX-10R) most of our testers only managed between a 1:54 and 2:05 laptimes."

Record lap is only about 6.5 seconds faster on a Kawasaki 636. 1:51:84.

I hope CSC offers some nice upgrades to get the most out of the bike, maybe offer one to Ari Henning..........

At an introductory price of $2,895, plus a $300 shipping fee, and a $35 document fee, the Zongshen RC3 is competitively priced with the other bikes in this category. In fact, the RC3 is selling for about $1,200 less than the Honda CBR300R.
