You are correct. The idle jet has nothing to do with 1/2 throttle up. That's main jet territory and if it's leaning, a bigger main will fix it. However, could be an ignition coil. Is it running okay until it heats up? I've replaced two ignition coils on china bikes that were breaking up at higher RPM when hot. They'd run okay at low RPM and when cold, then start breaking up. Coils seem to be a weak point of some of the bikes. I was told, on my OHC Diamo, by the Diamo parts guy in Sugar Land, that an 89 XR200's coil would work. I'm still running stock, though, on mine and it's held up so far.

BTW, I found out the hard way that either up or down and I don't have a reserve. :? Friggin' odo went out early on, so I just look in the tank to check level, sorta redneck, but it works.

For $10, you could remedy that with a Walmart speedo.

Just a thought.

i know this is an old post . ttrying to find a bigger gas tank . how much does the 150 Hold
