There was a Zongshen video that showed factory workers assemble the bikes completely, then test the bikes by riding it, and then disassemble the bikes to put it into a crate. I don't doubt it, since labor is so cheap in china. The china guy that test rode your bike must have really enjoyed riding it to have put 2 miles on it. Maybe it's 2 km, instead.

I knew it was a 428. I guess you don't have to do the 520 to 428 conversion.

Hey, I would strongly sugest bleeding your brakes. Sh(t and air came out of mine when I first got it from V-Bike. Bleeding the brakes isn't hard and it will NO doubt save your life.

I had already determined to do that. I was pushing it up to the front of my apartment after I got the wheel on, so I could work on all the other little stuff. When I went to stop it with the front brake I grabbed a handful of air. A few pumps stiffened it up but I don't trust it.

Items left to do:

Change oil
Bleed brakes
Gas her up
Put on bottom fairing
Remove front wheel and fender and put it on this time with the reflector bracket in place (dang instructionless bikes lol)
Ride the stuffings out of it

That front fender is a pain.

What CDI do you have is it a four or six pin?

The CDI is a six pin. I'm very close now, but have had a few bumps along the way. nothing against the bike but this is my first attempt at assembling a motorcycle. I changed the motor oil and I'm glad I did. The stuff that came out was thin as water and some weird shade of almost blue. Lots of metallic debris in there too. After getting the battery on and reassembling the fender I checked all the lights and bumped the engine over without any gas just to make sure the starter was good and the motor turned easily. The bike does have a turn signal beeper but it sounds like one in a car, rather than the obnoxious "truck backing up" thing found on Lifan bikes. I only have to get the lower fairing on now and fix my screwup with the front fender. I might go to ACE and get some 10mm bolts with nuts on them for the lower fairing. The clip monstrosities that come with this thing suck.

Yeah, most V-Bikes don't come with that blinker thingy. I still don't understand why Lifans have them.

All together, sans reflectors. I'll go a little later today and gas it up and take it for a spin around here local. I'll try to get the wife to take some pictures as well.

I took it out for the first ride today. I still don't have tags or inspection so I had to stay pretty close to home. Shifts a bit hard. I think I need to adjust the clutch a bit. Other than that, she rides quite nice.

Thanks for your posts and pics. Sharp lookin' bike there.

I think I'm learning Chinese: "150" + "Super Motor" = 200cc displacement.
