Maybe. i tried to see what motor it was and looks like the guy at the dealership removed a sticker that was on the motor. perhaps would it be stamped somewhere also?. or are these motors casted without any markings

My life experience tells me that there are a lot worse places in this old world than Houston, Texas.

North Dallas? Hell, that's cotton country. You all thought Fort Worth was rough.

Engine Model# 167FMM. WIsh i could find a digital cluster for this. The fuel gauge only has a Light when the fuel is low

Hello Boredabroad and other riders. This bike has a Zongshen engine , as said. But it is the "true" 169 FMM engine with a 69MM bore and a 62.2MM stroke , giving 232.6 CC. Often called the 233 cc engine. It is not the "fake" 169 engine , with 65.5MM bore and 66.2MM stroke , giving 223CC. In Thailand it is/was sold as a Platinum PX 250. Mine is a 2011/2012 model registered in 2013. 17" wheels and twin exhaust _ now converted to a single Yoshimura pipe. If anyone requires any codes for the wheel bearings / brake pads , valves , just ask. Mine has the standard gearing of 13/41. Runs 100 KMH @ 8,000 rpm.
