What’s involved for EPA etc
I’d thought about mail order bike from China direct etc ($1400 to your door not included tho)
More better higher end lowish costs like what PitsterPro or Asiawing SSR etc do

Sport rider what is the SD route? I am looking at a used 2016 Hawk this weekend.

do a quick search for south dakota registration. there's detailed steps there. the short answer is you can simply submit their paperwork and original title (in my case the MCO because it was new). I handled it all via mail/fedex.

if you're looking at a used one, chances are it already has a title. in that case, you can just get it transferred over. if the one you're looking at doesn't have a title, that may be a more difficult path. I'm not sure what they would do with just a bill of sale.

Thanks for clearing that up for me Sport Rider. The bike has a title and all the mods have been done.

best be to just try the local DMV first. If they say no, then you can search out alternatives.
