Application and drawings, both indoors and out, have been submitted to the county for the electrical permit. Fingers crossed! I can't trench until I get their blessing. That's the drawback of living on a main road. No obvious sneaking!

Moving Day!

At least all the big s--t. Mrs. 2LZ worked her tail off today!
Still working on the electrical. I have the shop plugged in via "big extension cord". Electrician coming in two weeks.

That is one awesome shop! This is my life goal for the future, everything in due time as they say! I'm currently 34 years old and saving up for land to eventually build my final home with shop and all.

It will happen. At 34, I had (once again) lost everything in a bad divorce and was miserable. Keep working hard, watch your ass, and someday it will all fall together.

Funny thing I discovered though..... God has a strange sense of humor. When I was finally able to afford most of the tools I always wanted......I didn't want to do that type of heavy work anymore!!!!

Lol. I wouldn't be that lucky. With my luck I would end up with the neighbors chicken coop.

Found this "closet organizer" on Amazon and it was a repack, so I got it for cheaper. Turned out it fits perfectly around my tool box. Got the matching shelf also. Now I can start moving in more tools like circular saws, porta-band, etc..etc....

Of all the heavy stuff moved, I added the most important appliance today..... No better place than next to the tool box.

I spotted the VStrom there in your shop!! Great bike! I had one about a decade ago and used it lots. I made it up Boulder canyon and took hwy 72 one year. I was rewarded with great scenery, and a pale ale at Oskar Blues on the way back down stopping in at the brewery in Lyons, CO. What an escapade that was.

The VStrom is a nice adventure touring bike.

i see you had a Vee.... while mine is a lowly Wee....but i love it so far!

I got the electrical hooked up today so it runs on its own now! No more extension cords. Just get the ditch filled tomorrow and the county inspection and it's all good!
