I agree; Miqueas should check his battery. I just had one cell die in my battery, and it was causing the RX3 to shut off, as well as causing hard starting. I replaced the battery, and all is well once again.

I was very pleased to discover the folding shift levers for the Honda XR650L fit the Zongshen RX3.
I have a spare, MSR shift lever for my Honda XR650L, and it is an almost identical replacement for the stock shift lever. The Honda shift lever might be about 1/2-inch longer than the stock shift lever. The stock, Honda shift lever, or any of the aftermarket shift levers will fit. I have the spare MSR shift lever because I prefer having the Emgo 83-88068 model fitted on my Honda XR650L. http://www.amazon.com/1993-2004-Hond.../dp/B0055DN0UE Here is a photograph of the Emgo shift lever mounted on a Husqvarna motorcycle.

I took a nice ride down to Utah yesterday. I really enjoy riding the RX3. I love the Delphi EFI and the six-speed transmission on this motorcycle.

Did you go as far as Ogden? I was on the phone with a dealer there yesterday, trying to find a Kawasaki part, but they couldn't find it.

No, I didn't go to Ogden. What part are you looking for? Is it a part for an old bike?
I have now recorded over 2,000 miles on the odometer of my RX3. Several days ago I adjusted the valve lash, and I will change the engine oil today. I consider my RX3 reliable, and ready for travel; I like this bike a lot. The main item on my wish list for this motorcycle is a better shock absorber.

Cache County? I plan on riding up that way early August on my way to Idaho Falls. Planning on 91 to 34 (through Logan, Preston and Soda Spirngs) then cutting north west to Idaho Falls.

Yes, I rode to Logan. Napoleon Dynamite sends his best regards from Preston. However, Kip and LaFawnduh have moved away.

Hi to all. I want you to check the last part of this video. Is this normal?
RX3 Zongshen Starting Problem - 12 June: This is a new video from today. The bike was cold and without use from night to morning. Some of the workers from ZONGSHEN told me they're gonna give part of my money back. And sue (denunciar in Spanish) me. I didn't catch that part. Anyway, now I'm going to see a lawyer friend and start this paperwork. Please check the other videos in my channel RX3 playlist. |

Who is suing who and why? I see steam or vapor coming out of the bike and it looks like something is leaking. Why hasn't it been repaired/fixed at the dealer?

If the dealer either cannot, or will not fix the problems, I suggest you tell your lawyer you want the dealer to give you a complete refund for that motorcycle.

For the new reader to this thread, it's important to point out that Miqueas is dealing with a South American dealer, and this in no way relects the service level at CSC in California. So far, everything I've read about CSC has been top shelf.

It's a rad cover for an old KLR250. Kawi discontinued them, and none of the dealers in NA have one. I've since found a used one in Australia.
