SKI, I like the stickers, I think the bike looks great. As someone else said, I would probably do away with the swingarm sticker.

Same here. Everything else looks good to me and I don't like stickers but these look good.

Removing just the #36 decals could be interesting.

You can buy the entire 21/18 wheel assemblies for $189 each, and have a set for every occasion! That's literally dirt cheap.

My only problem with that is, I don't want the 17" wheels. At the price of $380 plus the cost of the bike ($1700ish) that puts the DB36 fairly close to XTR 250 LC territory. Yes, I know it's not super close, but for an extra $800 I get a lot more of the hardware I would want for an off road bike in the process.

That said, if I could get one delivered to me for $1700 with said wheels already installed, then it becomes one heck of a better option vs. a Hawk/Bashan/etc. I am sure it is just a matter of time before the larger wheels become available as standard. They already sell them in other countries that way.

Notice that part from Orion does NOT come with a tire. That's a ridiculous price.
If I could find an apollo that I could use as a parts bike, I will be very tempted. But for $189 + $189 and then + 2 tires, I don't think so.

LOL. Have you ever priced wheels for Japanese bikes? You can hardy buy just the rim for that price. A good set of 17” SM wheels will set you back more than the cost of a new DB-36!

You got that right. It's insanity what they want for parts now.

My needs would be perfectly served with the 17's. Lots of paved canyons and twisties.

Since these wheels will fit just about any other Chinese bike you could always sell them. I bet they can be modified to fit Japanese bikes too so 17s would be a hot commodity at these prices. I'd take a pair off your hands.

Nice Bike.... I just bought one from TX motorsport, I'm shocked to hear about your carbrator.... I had done the same as you and replaced it before I even started up the bike I had to jet mine to 40 and 120 and moved the needle down to the next to last notch to get rid of the lean burn.Does anyone know where to find front and rear sprockets for the Apollo db-36dx delux 250?
