grabbed a few boards today and started getting the deck started.



will be picking up the new ( to us) ramps tomorrow after work as well as more lumber.

on another note....good thing i ripped it apart as today I found out that all 4 u-bolts that hold the axle in place are loose 8O so need to cut those off and replace as well :roll:

I can see where it looks that way, because the spring is not centered over the axle in this pic. The spring locator button should be over the axle. Yes, the springs are likely a bit bent, but that's normal.

Yes it is normal (i looked at a new set today and they are bent the same.

picked up the new mounting harware today 4 bolts, 2 top plates and nuts for $35

That is so weird! TurboT just got one of those for free as well.

Is it all aluminum? If so, I can't weld it. My buddy (whom you met) can, and I'm sure he'd do it for cheap.

cheap is almost as good as free in some cases as in yes these are aluminium and yes they need a couple of welds (or new mounts across the top)
