I'm sorry, this is off topic and probably inappropriate but my policy has been to avoid topics where people start talking about things where I know my opinion will be unpopular or offensive, but I just wanted to put it out there, just this one time, and then I will go back to sitting back in silence. I would say politically I am more towards the left, liberal, and am in favor of social services (such as health care, employment insurance, and education), and definitely not a republican/conservative! I am offended by many things republican. The USA is lucky to have a change in office, Obama is a change in the right direction, and America is lucky to be rid of Bush. And also I am an atheist (my other offensive trait). I don't believe people are bad people for being religious, I do believe many, not all, religious people feel that atheists are, or that they are without morals.

I'm gonna make a bowl of popcorn and watch this thread.
We're all entitled to our opinions Jim, and that's one of the many things that make our countries great (meaning USA and Canada; I'm certainly not excluding other countries here).

Not a problem Jim. Honest. You're a Canadian and I'd expect that. It;s your system.
I hope you don't mind if I'm a Reaganite either. I absolutely dispise our current president with every cell in my body. I'm a proud, red-blooded, gun owning, Right Wing, (lost faith in my own party), offspring of many Americans who have travelled all over this world dying for it, including, grandfathers, my dad and my brother.....so that's why I think the way I do. As far as religious beliefs, to each their own. I believe and have a personal relationship with the Big Guy. I don't preach or practice, other than my own heart....nor do I hate on anyone for not believing. I do believe this though.....the Lord has enough morons in this world to worry about without me beggin' on him all the time. God helps those who help themselves, in my book, and I believe our friend slimjim has proven that. The one place I do have to disagree though. Socialism. The worst thing you can do with a dollar bill is hand it to a government agency to handle properly for you. I know. I work for them. Trust me. Wow! I guess this is an official CR thread highjack! Sorry! Had to bite! Dangit! It's a forum disease!

I will admit I am not too familiar with the history or President Reagan, but a quote from a blog regarding him concerns me. "Reagan single-handedly transformed the U.S. from the world's largest lender nation into the world's largest debtor nation".

Hmmm, be nice to steer this thread back to Wayne's handiwork with the decals. I have never seen a thread that drifted to differing views on politics or religion end well. That being said, I think Doc's choice of decal looks fantastic and will be a great addition to Dirt Rat

I agree. Let's stick on topic. Not going to comment on the offtopic.

I like the darkest shade, the one on the left. I'm afraid to say I like anything on the left in the past context of this thread, but in this case it's the beest color (LOL!)

That's a good one, Doc.
The sample on the right seems to match the seat, while the middle sample appears closer to the fork boots. All of this according to my crummy monitor and failing eyes.

Ok, all done, first i cut the blue, wow weeding that needed surgeons hands, it looks good on the screen but those little pc's i had to take out were very small, becuase of that i decided to cut a white outlined backer, then the blue went on the white, then i cut the clear top layer to protect the blue lettering and voila, all done, i will wait one day for the water to dry up that i used when layering it together, then i'll trim them up and send them on their way.
The circles beside the DIRT RAT is what i used on each color to line everything up. The Blue The White The blue on the white The finished product |
