Whoo Hoo, I found a 3-5 cup coffee pot just a week before I hit the road.

Mrs. C has been giving me grief about getting things rounded up a couple weeks before I go but now I'll be in LA Wed-Thur 'Advising' at $1K a day, flying home Friday morning. Even with a 10am middle seat, I'll be lucky to get home by 7pm. That's fully paid, too.

Hitting the road after lunch on Sunday.

Getting ready to head off to Lake Superior in a little bit so I will be under the radar for the rest of this week. I'll post pics and a write up after I'm back, hopefully on Friday. I am prepped for an extra day, though, just in case.

Unless your speeds are going to be under 50 mph or you ride in an area that is mostly unpaved roads, I cannot recommend the Kenda K760 tire as a pusher tire for a Ural. It got me where I wanted to go but it's a rough riding SOB and I barely got 900 miles out of it.

Another FB memory today; Mrs. C's first ever sidecar ride.

There's been a lot more since then.

It's that time of year. Time to drag the Halloween Decorations out and pour anything called Pumpkin Spice on the ground and drink something good.

While getting Jack the Ribber ready, I broke his freaking arm off. Must be Osteoporosis...

The new Duro tire showed up today. If I hadn't been wrecking my shoulders hanging the unneeded new ceiling fan Mrs.C wanted, I'd have changed it today.

New tire mounted. Both SOB's fought me, but it's done now for the next couple of years. I forgot to enter the new tire in the log before I came in but I have a feeling I'll be out in the barn again before the day is over.

As mentioned in another thread, I’m in Maine visiting with our oldest daughter and her family. After we got set up in our hotel, we drove over to our kid’s house for pizza. Where our SIL told me that the oldest granddaughter asked her parents if I might leave her the Ural in my will.

I’m thinking, “Damn the arthritis, I better start looking over my shoulder.”
