Good thoughts all. Never thought about the dialectric but great advice. On the physical delivery, will have to ask the driver when I speak to him in the morning about what he's driving. Fortunately a friend has offered the use of his barn/shop etc. for the event and his ranch is literally right off the off ramp so with any luck (and his pickup) we'll be good to go. Crate says 320, if its not too much more than that we'll just muscle it around
I'll get pics of everything One more show to go. Oh, I've heard that our sound engineer wants to take a cut of me from the show and put it up on youtube...sooo, beware...photos might eventually end up with a sound track ! LOL Seer

OH YE of LITTLE FAITH!!!
hehehe okey, adventure continues...call driver, yep its on his dock in Eugene, BUT, "truck left early, can't make it today.." WHAT@!!!!!! u gotta b kiddin, "Nope, maybe by Thursday/Friday" "I don't think so.....people are waiting to see this thing, not to mention me too LOL" I call a friend in security at the casino..."hey, got a problem, how long's the bed on that pickup..?" "Great, think that's long enough, can I borrow it this morning? " " I can? "" SWEEET".... Off to Eugene in a shot...wander around and eventually find the trucking company and there it is , crate in perfect condition, not a scratch..." BUT...... DRUMROLL................ on the side it says "HAMNA 200GY" What the hell does that mean? so, drag the crate onto the pickup, drive back to Canyonville where my security friend and my show manager, both come over and we muscle Waldo off the truck, and into his garage which turns out to be a fully equipped shop Well, he's already rolled the big Harley road king out of the way, we set the crate down (was on a pallet) and start to open her up. Got a ton of pictures coming but i'm on the casino's comp at the moment and can't upload till later tonight. Bottom line, WALDO LIVES!!!, and PHIL and SPUD WIN!!!.. Looks to be nearly identical to the Black/white Hisun that we were discussing in the other thread. Couple of initial thoughts, quality of components on the bike is better than I expected. Inspection of wiring shows good connections thruout, appropriate routing and most are already tied down which was a surprise. The Headset is full of grease, I have the second "fake" exhaust which can fit the toolset AND a brewski who would've thought... LOL. The bottom mount for the rear suspension was a beeeaaatttch to line up and drive the bolt thru. The tank had a whole bunch of little plastic shavings running around in it, and unfortunately is the type which was the subject of a repair Tech post in these forums. i.e. it has a plastic downspout to which the pet attaches, so I'll be reinforcing that BEFORE it breaks. There is no damage to the bike other than the little scratched place that someone told me to expect on the front fender. The engine is the 163 (sorry forgot the letters, but have the photos), There doesn't appear to be a lock washer on the whole bike LOL, so all that locktite blue will be used tonight after the shows. so stay tuned The welding is, well, sloppy, but there sure is a lot of reinforcement. Wheels are heavy steel. my tubes havn't arrived yet so I took the time to make sure these aren't pinched and put some air in them, let them deflate etc. for several cycles. Couldn't find a reference for the amount of air they take in anything other than Kpa which i don't remember the conversion for. My friend's bike lift was a god send to hold it still and upright while we sorted things out. All the parts are there and nothing is broken. Cables seem pretty good actually, and are lubing as we speak. I have closeups of pretty much everything coming so just be a bit patient Darn work has to interfere LOL. All in all I'm very impressed with the bike. The stickers say manufactured in Chonquing by Tomoko or Tomoto don't remember at the moment. . Oh, the fastenings seem very good, not pot metal junk which is what I was expecting. Most have hardness calibrations on them. No pulled wires, cut or broken pieces etc. All in all, a very nice looking bike. Oh, it has the regular forks with rubber gaiters. not the inverted ones. AND, all the pieces "fit" without struggle or bending. I'll see if I can't get some photos up between shows In the meantime...oh, one more thing, the bike has a sticker under the rear cover plate that says "For Parts Service, www.motorsports.com" or something to that effect I have a picture... AND... it came with Hisun operators manual and Hisun parts manual, but no assembly manual or instructions, tho the parts manual makes it clear where everything goes. The battery box is on the left side, is metal and well mounted. Not breaking loose anytime soon. Spokes seem to be in good shape. No obvious loose ones. Front wheel spins true so that's a good sign also. Again, all in all, a surprisingly pleasant bike AND, lol walked into a bike store to look at helmets and they had some gloves on sale..(this was last week), they were ten instead of 40 bux, and fit so I bought them... You'll see the pic later, but turned out to be a perfect match to the colors/graphics of the bike...who'd have thunk it LOL. Now, we'll see later tonight if Waldo can run Till then, stay tuned for photos Seer

Wonderful and congratulations.
Make sure you do everything on the Dual Sport Bike Prep thread. I have the same bike, in blue and white, with 600 km of all dirt and the bike has been a champ. Biffed it today and needed a front fender and a headlight housing. Ordered Acerbis parts on line, so those will be white, but hopefully much stronger. :P It's not too soon to order a rear sprocket. The 56 is COMICAL. I have a 45 which allows 60 MPH at 7,250 RPM and I can still climb most anything in second. A good comprimise. We can't wait to see the pictures! SoreDoc.

Well first things first, I was a bit optimistic on the electronics LOL. turned the key and "psstfp" there went the fuze...so voltage meter spelunking we go...hour or two later...found it. The rear tailight holder, inside, where the two hot wires connect to the traces that power the running light and the brake light, one of em was barely connected by a thread and could swing over and contact the side of the fixture i.e. ground and pft. end of fuse.
So, not having a soldering Iron, off to the shop I go to see if I can get somone to solder it up. Instead, I end up buying a neato matching helmet to match my matching gloves LOL. Got my tubes, some more locktite...(8O you can use a ton of that stuff on one of these.) and some spare bulbs "just in case" LOL. Ok, back to the saga, now every bike I've ever had was setup so you could throw a lever or something easy, two bolts..whatever and pull the seat...SOOOOOo, i put EVERYTHING else together first...all the time thinking 'that's a really stupid way to mount the rack so that you have to remove it to get the side covers off"".....and then...epiphany... tragedy...after spending 45 minutes figuring out which washer/rubber grommet, funky extension nut combo to use, time for the SEAT!!! duh.... you guys could've mentioned the bit about the seat RFLMAO (lot funnier now than it was at the time). Anyway, remove the rack and side covers, put on the seat, remount all the other stuff, and time to put in some gas... well not yet, checked the brakes, checked the chain, set the adjusters, checked the tires, check check check check.... ok in goes the gas.. neat gas cap turn the key... "0" , so far so good, hit the lights..not bad, brake lights, working..running working, dim, bright so far so good... now turn signal...WTH!!!!!! 8O....who's idea was THAT? Sounds like a piece of heavy equipment backing up... ok time to try the horn.. 8O.. now THAT's a HORN!!! ok, time to throw the leg over, 8O!!!! THIS THING IS TALL!!!!!! (36" seat!!!" I think i have the "Yao Ming" signature model...!!! this is NOT a bike for less than six footers.. I'm 6'3 and a half, and im' on my toes!!!! ok ready, open pet cock, pull the choke, close eyes, pray...turn key... VRO"OO"OOOOOOOOOM WALDO LIVES!!!!!! (more to come Seer
