Has anyone tried the luggage rack on a Hawk and does it fit?

Not without modification. This is one area where the Brozz and Hawks differ. That said, the CSC TT250 rack does work. It's a bit more expensive, but I have one on my bike after catching it on sale for 50 bucks. Normally it is around 90 dollars.

You could also just search Hawk 250 luggage rack on google and refine it for chinariders.net results. There has been a few posts by guys who have done a few DIY racks over the years, and I think one guy who mounted a GIVI top boc mount directly to his Hawk.

I'm doing mock up on the TBR7 and found I need a caliper mount from either the Brozz or Hawk, the diagrams I'm finding show the drum brakes. Anyone know where I can find one?

I went with a 280mm shock, the stock was 305mm, it seemed to end up maybe an inch shorter.

Did you buy the kit? The brake bracket and caliper from your bike should install with your wheel.

Yes I bought the kit. My bracket is totally flat, and used a small spacer between it and the wheel before, plus the caliper locating pin was a little longer. With the required spacer to line up the caliper with the rotor, it's about 3/8 inch away from the pin. Looking at your pics it appears that the one you are using has some offset with the spacer built in.

Looks like you have the spacer on the wrong side.

The spacer that was included with the kit is installed on the other side, it's a bit bigger. I then had to use the stock spacer from that side on this side to make things line up. The wheel is centered and the chain is straight.

If you look at post 22 in this thread it shows Dans bracket, with more of a built in spacer .

Yeah, I couldn't find much in terms of pictures of the TBR7 setup from any different angles, but if it has a separate spacer and the bracket itself has no channel, you may have to work out if a Hawk or Brozz bracket and caliper will be a viable solution for you.

I can try to match up some measurements with you to see if the Hawk bracket might be an option. If the rotor is offset the same from the hub then it should be a non issue. When I get a chance I will measure how far the rear disc is from the inside edge of the swing arm. If that matches up, then the Hawk bracket and caliper should work.

Ah! I just realized this is on a TBR7.

If you could I would appreciate it. My rotor is roughly 1.25inches from the swingarm. Also if you could measure the caliper mounting holes for width, I'm hoping to use this caliper if possible.

Looks like locating peg for caliper bracket not catching swing arm?
You may need a CSC Hawk etc rear mounting bracket thats got an offset

Oh steel flat plate? not cast ali bracket?

Maybe you can weld on the steel plate to catch the locating area on the swing arm?

I thought about the welding little "angle irons " on to the plate, but then thought just a little rod/ shaped bolt, welded on to the swingarm locating pin would probably work also. It's gotta go to my buddies to weld, so I'm still hoping for an easy bolt on solution. The caliper itself has a stop built in that rests against the swingarm. So the only real pressure is when hitting the rear brakes going backwards. If I needed to ride it, bailing wire would ease my mind enough to ride it.
