Great detail!
![]() That's exactly where crud ends up in an XR engine as well. I rebuilt one recently that had a bent cam gear, so the oil pump was full of aluminum; it looked like anti-seize.

Good morning all.
Got the pics resized so it should be much easier viewing. |

That's much better, thanks.
![]() Did you install the new shock yet? How was the fit? What is the displacement now?

Haven't got the new shock installed yet, I'm going to have to drill out the bolts holes to a bigger size on the shock itself, won't be a big deal for that though.
The front tire was the same brand as the rear Kenda. 21'' 80/100 I think. Installing the exhaust was so quick and simple I didn't even take pictures of the process. I might recreate the process for the sake of documentary. ![]() |

thorgram, what engine code is that?
It looks identical to my 162FMJ, having trouble finding a kit for it, I was told it was one of the more rare motors. Thanks

Where would I find the engine code? I've probably looked right at it before but was in a different zone.

My right or your right? Just kidding.
![]() 163FML-2. It's close but as they say, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. I find it unlikley that it's not a clone of a mainstream engine though. |
