Also can please provide the diameter of the front headlight and depth of the light to the installation bolts? I’m also liking the idea of a screen on the light. Thank you for your help. I’m bored waiting on the bike figure might as well order the mods now. í ½í¸†

Thanks, that looks sweet.
For my cafe racer look I meant that I want to install a mesh grill so I really need the size of the headlight? Looks about 5 inches in pictures but not sure. |

Vince looking forward to your pictures, enjoy that scenery!
Question about the choke. Seems when I push the choke lever all the up the motor dies instantly. When the lever is in the middle or down the engine starts and runs fine. Can’t start it with the lever all the way up, which I figure is the run position. Any suggestions on what the problem is or why she won’t run unless in mid or full choke? I live in NY it’s 70 degrees so not cold, and I let the engine idle in mid choke for a few minutes. She holds idle no problem and starts in choke no problem. |

So I checked online and seems ok to ride with choke, if not for extremely long distances, so I’ll run it in mid-choke to take to the local mechanic so they can make necessary adjustments. I also want a mechanic to look over everything and give me some maintenance and service guidance before I start taking any trips. For someone new to motorcycles the manual sucks!

Have you adjusted the valve lash?

My DF shuts down once taken off choke, just dies.
I will have to take it to a mechanic for my inspection, so will have them check it out. What tire PSI you guys riding front and rear? |

What did your mechanic say about your DF dying when taken off choke?

Choke…
I never went to the mechanic. I decide on doing my own initial service. I did the oil change and adjusted chain. Still not sure about the choke but the bike runs and starts on first try. I have nearly 500 miles and it seems to run fine. Still don’t know why it dies on either full choke or no choke. Eventually I’ll have to get the bike serviced professionally and have them take a look and will post the result.
