Three pairs of Dickies' jeans, 36 x 30. I've dropped so much weight in the past two years that it was both necessary and a reward.

Bought some more stuff today for my 2017 Forester XT... all of it was ordered from the good people at MAPerformance, they have a 10% off coupon going today (" COL10 " is the coupon code ) and I couldn't resist...

TurboXS Top Mount Aftercooler (Intercooler), Perrin Charge Pipe and Silicone Intake Hose, and a Mishimoto Silicone Throttle Body Hose...

Didn't have enough $$ to get the Go Fast Bits BOV... that's going to be another $290 in the near future

Don't worry everyone... I will do some "Before and After" temps on the system... should be able to get a decent amount of data with a temp gun paired with all the sensors the car has

All I know is the decent sized OE "Intercooler" heat soaks easily and has anywhere from 3 to 4 psi of back pressure making the turbo work harder... living at 6,000+ feet above sea level the turbo is already working some hard overtime

TurboXS Aftercooler and a free flowing Perrin charge pipe will easily fix my issues

very nice... i have a GFB BOV for an older (04ish) sti sitting next to my turbo on my toolbox....hehehe still unsure if when i turbo it i will go front mount or top mount.... certainly cant complain about what i aid for it... was driving down an alley for work and saw shiny.... the china rider in me stopped to look and it was a slightly corroded GFB bov...hehehe and yes... that will be a FUN turbo.... hehehe... still undecided on wether i use the GFB or i have an HKS SSQV knockoff from my trucks supercharger build.... if i go front mount its getting the SSQV....

Hit another HF Parking Lot Sale today. Picked up an 'As-Is' 90 Amp flux core welder for under forty bucks. PO had done a bad job of installing the wire spool. Two minutes of my time undoing some hamfisted work and I have a decent(not nice)welder. Compared to my 20+ year old CH flux core welder, though.... Best thing is that the gun is cold until the trigger is pressed. No errant arcs from an unsteady hand.

I bought...

Actually, I ordered a piece of tinted acrylic to make a windscreen for my Hawk. It seems that the windscreen option is becoming very popular thanks to a growing group of Hawk Owners. I’ll post pictures of my windscreen when I finish it.

New gear for Mrs. C. Her Scorpion half helmet was due to be replaced and I've been pressing her to get a leather jacket for awhile.

https://www.cyclegear.com/gear/bilt-roadster-helmet

I got her a Joe Rocket 1992 Womens Jacket for her b'day but it it was way too small. We got the above with the refund.

I Ordered....

I ordered a kickstand plate off of Amazon. The soil here in Florida is sandy, so hopefully this will help keep my Hawk upright. I got the hi-vis orange, so I won’t lose/leave it!

Had to get a new thermostat for one of my heating zones when some dummy (me) let the bare wire ends contact some power it was never meant to see.

No pics, but all new bearings for the Ural final drive. Nothing wrong with it, yet, but I want everything for it for if, and when, it goes south. The big 61822 bearing is almost $400 though Ural.

After four years, I opened a new fleabay account and found a NIB INA 61822 bearing for less than $45 shipped. Got the 3304A from Ali Express for under $10 and the 16011 from Amazon for under $15. I found all the seals on the bay, too.

Looks like the only stuff I will need to get from Ural are the ring and pinion set, front pinion needle bearing, and the driven gear hub. That will still be less than the cost of that 61822 bearing.

I bought some...

I bought some stainless steel bolts, nuts, washers and lock washers. I’m on a mission to replace all of the questionable hardware on my Hawk with quality stainless steel hardware. Today I replaced the factory exhaust system with an eBay exhaust system, so I replaced all of the “green” hardware while I was at it.

A bit late in the year for such a purchase but eh...couldnt pass it up. Got ahold of two John Deere rear engine ride on lawn mowers for $500. First one was delivered yesterday and the other will come in the spring. Bought them from a friend of my dads who had them on a property closer to the US border hence the separate deliveries.

This is the first of the two. A 1990 JD SX95 RER (Rear Engine Rider) it needs a bit of work but it is pretty much perfect sized for our yard.

The other one is an older JD 66 model. I will get pics of it when it arrives. There is a pretty good chance that one will arrive with an older Allis Chalmers 405 RER at the same time. I picked up the Allis as a project to tinker on and it only cost me a spare computer tower that i was selling for $50 anyway lol.
