Shouldn't need Stabil unless you let the bike set up for a long time. I usually never even use the choke to start her up.

Off topic but…

Nice I had never heard of the brand Ural, but really like the side car, classic look.

Reminds me of Indiana Jones!!

My DF by a old barn being torn down down the road a bit from our place in the mountains of WNC. The owner passed away years ago and I bet he is turning over in his grave.

Hey any service stand recommendations? This bike really needed a center stand since it isn’t compatible with the sport bike rear stands.

Also one have an issue with their brake lights? My front and rear brake light dose not engage when pressing the front brake lever or pushing down on the rear brake.

Does anyone have experience with this issue or any ideas what this issue can be? By the way all the other electrical functions work fine. Including the tail light.

The brake lights will only glow when the ignition is switched to ON. They use battery power, as do the headlights. If you have no light, the most likely spot to look would be where the switches(F & R) get their power as they are fed separately. Likely inside the headlight bucket. Find the wires that feed the switches - one to power(B+), the other to the F&F light sockets. Both switches use ignition switch controlled power.
A quick check is to see if you have power to the rear brake switch, kind of out in the open and easier to access. Check for power on one wire with the ignition ON. If no power, follow the power wire back to its source of power.
Ignition switches of old had a 'park' feature that would send power to the rear tail light, used to mark the bike presence in the dark in narrow allies/ways. The position was separate from OFF/RUN. FWIW.
You could also check for B+ at the ignition switch, both IN and OUT.

I agree that it needs a center stand. I have tried to adapt several but no luck.
I used this kinda hokey arrangement on mine.

Yep, check the taillight bulb. I just went and checked and the bulb lit up with either the hand or the foot brake.

I took the rear light apart and saw that the light is a bunch of small LED bulbs. They are all illuminated when running, but don’t get brighter when brakes (front or rear) are engaged. The tube fuse in the plastic case near the battery seems to be intact, are there any other fuses to look for?

Barnone, do you have the same stock LED taillight/brake light ?

I’m wondering if I need a new brake light fixture ?
